APC International, Ltd. (APCI), Duck Run, Mackeyville, PA 17750, announces that they can now produce dense, conventional lead Zirconate Titanate (PZT) ceramics down to 0.005 inches in thickness. Materials with 0.005 inch thickness will have a thickness resonance of approximately 15 MHz, and are suitable for application in many high frequency devices.

The ability to manufacture the APC International, Ltd. family of PZT materials as thin as 0.005 inches in thickness resulted with the acquisition of a Meyer Berger TS 27 ID diamond saw.
