Piezoelectric Materials offered by APC are manufactured from the highest purity raw materials available and have been developed and refined by years of in-house research and development.
APC can produce custom piezo ceramics from any of our PZT materials or if you wish to manufacture your own piezoelectric ceramics, APC will supply unprocessed piezoelectric materials.
Offered in our PZT powder line are:
– APC 840 (Navy I)
– APC 841
– APC 880 (Navy III)
– APC 850 (Navy II)
– APC 855 (Navy VI)
Your specific piezo application will determine the type of piezoelectric material that is best suited.
Sensor applications typically use APC 850 or APC 855 because of their high dielectric constant, high coupling factor, and high charge sensitivity.
High power applications typically use APC 840, APC 841, or APC 880 due to their high mechanical quality factor, high piezoelectric charge constant, and high Curie point.
